Side 1: Bathsheba bathing in a fountain decorated with diapered patterns; maid handing a container to Bathsheba.
Side 2: knight in armour; man and naked woman aiming arrows at a man seated on the ground, holding a bow (Judgement of Paris or Legend of the King of Mercia?).
Crosshatched background.

Museum's opinion 2011: Germany, c. 1520.

Missing: head of seated figure on side 2; teeth on both sides.
Brown patina. Worn.

Provenance
Collection of Victor Martin Le Roy, Neuilly-sur-Seine (c. 1924). Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Blumka to the Museum of Fine Arts in memory of Mrs. Joan Drayton, in 1966.
