Traces of two hinges on either side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: gold foliated decoration along the hems; roof.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Hinges visible.

Object Condition
Part of the base is broken and has been reattached, at the base of the left column.
Missing: ends of the two back pinnacles; object the Virgin was holding (possibly a flower stem).

Private collection, London (bought from Christie's, London, 9 July 2009, lot 22).
