Border of dentils.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Recessed along the upper and lower edges. Vertical slot at the back which may have been to secure a handle and use the panel as a pax. Label with modern inscription.

Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.

Comments
Recessed along all edges.

Provenance
Collection of Gato de Lema, restorer at the Prado, Madrid. Purchased from Bligny, Paris (500 fr.), in 1899, by Fritz Mayer van den Bergh (b. 1858, d. 1901), Antwerp; upon his death, his mother Henriëtte had a purpose-built museum erected (1901-1904) to house his collection.
