Seated Virgin and Child; Christ in long robe; Christ seated on the Virgin's left knee; saint Dorothy holding a basket with fruits and a stem of flowers; saint Catherine of Alexandria; crown.
On the back:
Register 1: two standing angels; towers.
Register 2: two standing angels holding censers; towers.

Unknown

Reverse
Carved in the round. Elaborate architecture.

Object Condition
Missing: head of the Virgin (had a replacement head in 1905).

Comments
Two other pieces with similar iconography exist: one in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, and one in Münster Cathedral.
