Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Traces of black ink.

Object Condition
Many deep vertical cracks. The panel has broken into two pieces which have been glued back together.
Missing: part of the panel in the upper right area (replaced with carved wood).

Comments
This iconography is more common in a triptych than a diptych.

Collection of Friedrich Georg Hermann Culemann (b. 1811, d. 1886), Hannover (no. 465); acquired by the city of Hannover in 1887.
