Seated Virgin and Child (Virgo lactans); bench.
Border of dentils.

Museum opinion 2013: France, 1st half of the 14th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Each wing is pierced in the spandrels by two holes.
The right wing broke in several pieces which have been glued back together.

Provenance
Purchased from Paul Glaser, Berlin, in 1935.
