Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy and gilding (in 1924).
Object Condition
Chipped along the edges.
Provenance
Certainly from the collection of Armand Le Véel (b. 1821, d. 1905), as it is said to be in the 'Musée Le Véel' by Koechlin in 1924, it thus must have been part of the Le Véel bequest to the city of Cherbourg in 1905.
