Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: red (lining of garments; whip; swaddles; ground; etc.), blue (lining of garments), green (lining of garments; grass), green and red (painted vine in the Annunciation to the Shepherds scene), black (shoes), gold (along the hems; tree; hair and beards; wings; manger, etc.), grey (hair), brown (hair).
Reverse
Hidden by the frame.
Object Condition
Background damaged.
Part of the copper frame lost.
Panel for the Entombment and 'Assumption broken diagonally. Background of the Nativity scene broken in many pieces, some of them missing.
The diamond-shaped panel with Christ in glory is later.
Comments
Made of separate rectangular and triangular panels in a wood and copper frame. The overall measurements are: 465 x 380mm, including the frame.
