Saint John the Baptist holding the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei); standing Virgin and Child; saint John the Evangelist holding a book and a martyr's palm. Border of dentils on three sides.

Museum's opinion 2015: German (?), 14th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Two holes in the lower border (one has caused the panel to crack). Central hole in the upper part of the panel. Hole on either side in the lower part of the panel. Two more holes only visible from the back in the upper part of the panel.

Provenance
Purchased from J. J. Klejman, art dealer, New York in 1972.
