Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.
Reverse
Flat and smooth. Trace of later metal fittings now lost.
Object Condition
Three later holes in the centre to the left, probably giving evidence of a lost clasp which would have held the diptych closed. Further later holes in each corner. All these holes probably secured later metal fittings, the trace of which is visible on the back.
